October 12, 2017 | 8am - 11am | Goethe-Institut Washington D.C.

Defendable and credible estimates have long been the key to funding programs appropriately and getting them off to the right start. While effective program management is instrumental in meeting mission goals and keeping programs funded. Yet, as more software-intensive programs are being delivered through Agile and DevOps methods, the tasks of estimating complex software and keeping programs on track grows more challenging.

This FREE hands-on workshop is designed to help IT budgeting community, estimators, and program management:

  •  Learn about software metric and sizing commercial best practices and standards
  • Account for funding activities in the current climate of decreasing budgets.
  • Understand how software size (SLOC to Function Points) and software metrics improve estimation.
  • Apply software metrics throughout the program lifecycle to improve program management and planning tools and processes
  • Enhance program knowledge through the capture and reuse of actual program performance
  • Create transparency to improve client/vendor partnerships and program performance, budget and schedule.
