Asysco & Microsoft presents

Take control of legacy systems modernization and migration

Organizations face multiple businesses and IT challenges like increasing cost, fierce competition, and faster time to market. A lot of those organizations still rely on business-critical legacy applications, like mainframe or legacy code like COBOL. Modernizing legacy applications is a high-stakes, high-anxiety affair for enterprise IT leaders. The lack of accurate knowledge of what’s inside the applications further exacerbates the challenge.

Maintaining these legacy applications can be challenging. Specifically, resource availability, keeping up with the pace of change and the need for improved functionality, flexibility at lower costs.

Asysco, Microsoft and CAST puts their customer back in control of their legacy modernization roadmap. In this session, Asysco, Microsoft and CAST experts share the approach and real-world examples.

Learn how to:

  • Get a complete view of what’s inside an application – a ‘google map’ of the actual architecture, down to the line of code
  • Check your systems pre and post modernization against ISO 5055 norms (Reliability, security, performance efficiency, and maintainability)
  • Modernize mainframe systems into modern, cloud enabled platforms and technologies
  • Migrate the mainframe applications to Azure in a controlled and secure way
  • Encounter lack of COBOL resources, SMEs and reduce maintenance cost of legacy systems
  • Respond faster to business needs - from small changes to modernization
