Chief Information Security Head
Anoop KP, an accomplished professional with a distinguished 19-year tenure in the IT sector, holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He was onboarded as CISO on August 1st, 2020, at Macom as part of the ISMS certification. Throughout his journey at Macom, he implemented an internal Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) team in 2020 and started providing Security Operations Center (SOC) services to clients from 2022 onwards. Subsequently, he established an internal Information Security (IS) audit team and implemented stringent Information Security Management System (ISMS) procedures. Successfully implemented a next-gen Web Application Firewall (WAF) solution and ensured web application and API security, along with a load balancer for hosted public applications starting in January 2023. Furthermore, he secured the environment using advanced EPS solution along with DLP and Windows OS patching solutions, securing group company endpoints as well. He collaborated with the Cyber Crisis Management Team (CCMT) in managing all incidents designated as cyber crises.
CAST COE Team Lead By Anoop is primarily focusing on application performance, alongside ensuring operational continuity, security, and maintainability. This focused approach ensures a balanced innovation strategy, delivering software that is reliable, secure, and easier to maintain with in the entire Macom community.Larger goal is to Onboard Customer with the above pain point through a MACOM-CAST partnership.
